QEEG Brain Map

Get a personalized understanding of your brain.

A QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) is a non-invasive brain mapping technology that measures your brain’s electrical activity in the form of brain wave patterns.

Brain waves are the rhythmic electrical impulses generated when the millions and millions of neurons inside your head communicate with each other. Brain waves can reveal important information about your overall brain function especially associated with mental health concerns. A QEEG can reveal brain wave patterns that are associated with impulsivity, cognitive inflexibility, anxiety, negative moods, big emotions, and other symptoms.

This information can be used to create a personalized map of your brain function.   The cost is $250 and requires two visits.  One to conduct the map and a second to review the findings.

Frequently Asked Questions

QEEG Brain Map can be used for:
  • Individuals wishing to undergo neurofeedback.
  • Tracking changes in brain function over time.
  • Therapists looking for additional information to diagnosis and treat their clients.
  • To understand the reasons you are experiencing certain symptoms.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and PTSD.
What is QEEG Brain Mapping and how does it work?

QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalography) Brain Mapping is a non-invasive test that measures electrical activity in the brain. By placing small electrodes on the scalp, we capture brainwaves and analyze them to identify patterns. This mapping helps understand brain function and guides the development of personalized treatment plans for conditions like anxiety, ADHD, and more.

What can a QEEG Brain Map diagnose?

A QEEG Brain Map can help diagnose and assess various conditions related to brain activity, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, sleep disorders, and cognitive impairments. It can also be used to track progress during treatment, allowing for more targeted and effective therapy.

Is QEEG Brain Mapping safe?

Yes, QEEG Brain Mapping is completely safe. It is a non-invasive procedure that does not involve any pain or discomfort. The electrodes placed on your scalp only measure electrical activity, and there are no side effects or risks associated with the process.

How long does a QEEG Brain Mapping session take?

A typical QEEG Brain Mapping session takes about 45 to 60 minutes. During this time, electrodes will be placed on your scalp to record brainwave activity. The procedure is straightforward, and you will be able to relax comfortably during the test.
